Tonight my guild killed Illidan Stormrage, thus we have completed World of Warcraft, atleast in terms of raiding. Of course we only have it complete until patch 2.4 comes out and gives us new content which may be as soon as the Wednesday after tomorrow. However this is a "big deal" in that it's what I spend the majority of my time doing and dragging this out of the guild involved a fair amount of blood sweat and tears so I'm rather happy. Now what to do with life...

Off to Finland again on Friday, I really should explain somewhat but it seems like rather too much effort and I'm tired atm, a bad excuse. I may give an update on how my life is progressing before I go, I really should I guess just in case someone actually reads my bi-monthly "Stilll playing too much Warcraft" updates. Suffice it to be said my friends page is still my homepage and though I never comment I think of most of you dearly...

So I haven't posted in over two months. Then I got tagged for a meme 8O
Once tagged by this entry, the assignment's to write a blog entry ofsome kind with six random facts about you. Then, pick six of yourfriends and tag them; no tag backs. This explanation should be included.
1. Tonight I reached the rank of Marshall in WoW. (I'm going to really try and not make the other five facts warcraft related, I don't hold out much hope.)
2. Since late March-early April I've smoked cannabis on approximately 5 nights, only once to excess.
3. This doesn't mean I've done anything positive with my life since then, in fact since mid-July I've been hooked on Warcrack. (Probable failure.)
4. I really need to go out and see my friends more often.
5. For those of you not in the know, the EU Warcraft servers are down for maintenance from 5am - 11am CET. Fact: This makes me sad when my sleeping pattern is a mess, it shouldn't, it should be blessed relief ;p
6. I failed hideously at making this post as un-Warcraft related as possible, I am still unemployed, I am still living at home. None of these things are good.

Just played my first game of Alterac Valley. I was wavering, having gotten tired of the monotonous PvE at lvl 51, whether to actually subscribe to World of Warcraft or not but that made up my mind, I will. PvP is where it's at, same thing pretty much happened last weekend, was unsure whether to pay a monthly fee but played Battlegrounds all weekend at lvls 48-49, loved it and it made up my mind. My mind was then unmade by pain drop-rate quests in Ungoro and a 1/3 of all the chain quests being help NPC>help NPC>help NPC>trek a gazillion miles>go back>go to a third place>help NPC>kill something major>help NPC>NPC is evil>kill NPC, just because it's in a different area doesn't mean it's a different quest ;p But yeah the PvP is awesome hilarity, then again competition against actual humans is always much more fun to be fair. Hopefully this will provide me the impetus to get over the current PvE hump, try a few more instances, get to some interesting new places that might, god forbid, have a new style of quest...
If I do anything other than hang around, play video games and go to manchester to see people and/or roleplay then believe me you'll all be the first to know. If not assume I am doing the above but am still reading your posts and occaisionally being tempted to comment, thinking better of it and leaving your journals relatively unmolested...

Also Xfire is pretty homtastic, only able to log on for about 15 mins everytime I restart my PC other than that it just will not log on and it kicks me after said 15 minutes, rather annoying/amusing...

I can't get to sleep, it's approaching that time where it's pretty much pointless anyway. Second episode of the new season of Entourage was pretty great though, least not being able to sleep meant I got to see that. First ep was a little weak, but mainly setup with a few sentimental bits thrown in, this weeks was just plain amusing...

Have to use ClockGen as my motherboard limits me too 239-240 FSB. But after 45 minutes of Prime 95 this is stable so far with a load temp of 46-47C with cooling barely audible over other system and background noise so I could knock that up and knock a few degrees more off, but I'm happy with this much clearance under 50 really...

Bastard power-spike crashed me as I was abnout to finish Thunderhead Keep 8( Then I was simulataneously unamused and very amused as my keyboard and mouse refused to function, till I plugged mouse into USB, restarted a few times, still no keyboard. Rang Dave, the keyboard managed to take me to BIOS, magically fixing itself after having forced me to disrupt Dave's busy work day of playing on his DS ;)
Pissed about THK though, such a bastad of a mission, was dagging lvl 5 Warrior on my second account through it too. Gonna cap Charge! at lvl 5 see if I cando Drok's run sub lvl 10...

Spent far too many hours today watching the NFL draft, am very happy with the Packer's results, we got the player I've been lusting after for about seven-eight months and got half-decent value for Javon Walker rather than nothing, though I'm really sad to see him go, an awesome receiver we didn't treat right. Made some good trades down to get extra picks, got a good OT who's also from North Pole, Alaska 8D And we picked up a receiver/kick returner, which is good with losing Walker and last year's second round pick Terrance Murphy who will probably never play again after damaging his spinal column...
May head up for most of round three after a break...

More importantly than tesco fucking me around with Factions is that Reggie Bush isn't the first pick of the NFL Draft, it's Mario Williams going Houston. I just hope that the Saints and Jets don't trade with NO picking A.J. Hawk at no 4 as he's the guy I've wanted at GB ever since our season went down the pan, I really hope he's still there at no 5 and Reggie Bush isn't a distraction by somehow being available at pick 5 or for us to trade up, lol. If Hawk is gone which would make me very sad then we extort picks out of SF by threatening to draft Vernon Davis, hopefully get pick 22, draft whoever's best at 6 and maybe Bobby Carpenter or Chad Greenaway to play LB at 22, though we'd prolly have to move up to get Greenaway but it'd be worth it...
Of course we could pick D'Brickashaw Ferguson if he's available to have Kabeer-Gbaja Biamila on DL and D'Brickashaw Ferguson on OL as All-Name Team players 8D And because we keep losing and not replacing linemen...
